I am back from whatever illness had my ears full of fluid. I am still a little congested but making progress .... I think.
It is always nice to find something pleasant when you return from a short layoff. Behold, Third Year Fly Fisher comes with some Mexico short film goodness.

As usual Thompson rocks this short film on fly fishing Mexico. He also gives The Cedar Sweeper a shout out in his most recent blog update with an invitation to stop and say hello to him at the upcoming Midwest Fly Fishing Expo. Here is the blog post.
Speaking of the Midwest Expo, here is a link to the seminar lineup. There will be lots of friends and aquaintances of the magazine at the show. Wayne Snyder, good friend and TCS contributor, will be giving a talk on fly fishing Isle Royale and signing books at the author's table. Dirk Fischbach, good friend from Colton Bay Outfitters, will be giving a talk on fishing Montana on the cheap. This is a talk that I plan to catch on Saturday. Cameron Mortenson, The Fiberglass Manifesto, will be giving a talk on the status and future of glass rods. There are other friends who you can look up on the exhibition floor; Mystic Fly Rods, The Painted Trout, Anglers Choice Flies, Colton Bay, Huron Pines, Cameron Mortenson, Challenge Chapter TU, Pere Marquette Lodge, and Michael Johnson Riverguide (I will be spending some time at the fishermen's trail booth).
It should be a good show so be sure to get out this weekend and take in some Michigan Fly Fishing goodness.
