Back At It

I return to this blog with a heavy heart.  On April 2, 2012 we lost my father in-law.  I do not and have not know a better man that walked the planet.  He was a kindhearted, gentle soul who treated me like his very own son.  I was proud to call him Dad.  May his soul rest in peace and we will always remember.


Its pretty hard to get fired up about fishing when our peace and order is shattered by the sudden passing of a loved one.  However, my flame is growing everyday now and while I will never be the same fishing is good for the weary and damaged.  We will be hitting the Au Sable and Manistee systems in a few weeks and I flat out can't wait.


Home base is officially moving to South Lyon, Michigan; I have shared the new P.O. Box here more than once and will do it again right now.

I can't wait to hit some of the lakes in our new home area and will report on it extensively moving forward.  

I am working on the new issue and while it has been delayed it should still be out right around the end of April.
